U-19 T20 World Cup Semi-Finals: Team Indiaโs winning streak in the Womenโs Under-19 T20 World Cup continues. India has reached the semi-finals by defeating Bangladesh in the Super Six round. India defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the very first match of the Super Six. With this, India has secured its place in the semi-finals.
Dominant Bowling Secures Indiaโs Victory
Now it will not be an exaggeration to say that they are two steps away from the title. The toss of the coin was in Indiaโs favour in the match against Bangladesh. In this match, India decided to bowl first. Sports fans were also surprised to see Bangladeshโs batting in the T20.
Because Bangladesh scored 64 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. They also set a target of 65 runs for victory. Jannatul Maua (14 runs) and Sumaiya Akhtar (21 runs) were able to reach double figures for the team. India completed the challenge given by Bangladesh for victory in 43 balls. India lost two wickets in reaching this target. Vaishnavi Sharma was the most successful bowler for India and she took 3 wickets for 15 runs in four overs

India Chases Down Target with Ease
Chasing the target of 65 runs set by Bangladesh, Team India did not start well. G Kamalini was dismissed for just 3 runs. Then Gongadi Tridasha scored 40 runs with the help of 8 fours and was dismissed. Sanika Chalke scored 11 not out and Nikki Prasad scored 5 not out to lead the team to victory.
India won the first match against Bangladesh in the Super Six. Now the second match will be played against Scotland on 28 January. Overall, India has 6 points and a run rate of 6.009 from three matches in Group 1 of the Super Six. Therefore, it has entered the semi-finals.
