Najmul Hussain Shanto and Zakir Hussain came out to bat for Bangladesh and shared a 39-run partnership for the first wicket. But Jaidev Unadkat showed the way to the pavilion by getting Zakir Hussain caught out by KL Rahul. On the same score, the Bangladesh team got another blow when Ashwin dismissed Shanto lbw on a personal score of 24 runs.
Shakib and Mominul shared a 43-run partnership for the third wicket. Umesh Yadav broke the partnership of Shakib and Mominul and sent Shakib to the pavilion with a personal score of 16 runs.
Mushfiqur and Liton Das were dismissed for the 4th and 5th wickets respectively. Mushfiqur was 26 and Liton played an innings of 25 runs.
An incredible thing was seen in the Indian team. There was a big change in the playing XI. Man of the match Kuldeep Yadav was not included in the playing XI during the last match. Jaydev Unadkat got a chance in place of Kuldeep Yadav. He is returning to Test cricket after 12 years.
