India Squad for Women’s World Cup 2025: The Women’s World Cup 2025 is being hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The tournament will start from September 30 and 8 teams will participate. England and Australia have dominated this tournament. While New Zealand has won the title once.

The Indian women’s selection committee, led by Neetu David, has announced a 15-member squad. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the side as captain, while Smriti Mandhana will be the vice-captain. India’s batting lineup looks strong with Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Harleen Deol and Pratika Rawal. Wicketkeeping duties will be handled by Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia.
Shafali Verma has been dropped from the Women’s World Cup squad. Shafali Verma’s performance in the last few months has not been that special. She is currently on a tour of Australia with the India A team.
