Big news has come out from the cricket circle. The second match in a row has been lost due to a rain-soaked pitch. The match between Team India vs Canada has been cancelled. ICC i.e. International Cricket Council has given information about this through social media. With the match’s cancellation, both Team India and Canada have been given 1-1 points each. Before the Team India-Canada match on 14 June USA vs Ireland was also called off due to wet pitch. There is an atmosphere of displeasure and anger among cricket fans as 2 consecutive matches at the same ground have been canceled within 24 hours.

Match Abandoned and Points Shared
Team India vs Canada match was organized at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida. The match was scheduled to start at 8 PM and the toss was expected at 7:30 PM. But the pitch was wet due to rain. So the umpire inspected at 8 and then at 9. After that, it was finally decided to cancel the match. It was the fourth and final match of the series between Team India and Canada, marred by rain.

The players of both teams shook hands after the announcement of the cancellation of the match. The Canadian players then took pictures with the Indian stalwarts.
