Rishabh Pant Thought it Was a Six
India, led by Rohit Sharma, won the match by 7 runs. Talking about Surya’s catch, Rishabh Pant shared on a YouTube channel, “When the ball was in the air, I thought everything was over. It looked like a sure six, but the prayers of Indian fans kept the ball from crossing the boundary.”

Rishabh Pant’s Remarkable Comeback
Rishabh Pant returned to international cricket after 16 months following a serious car accident in December 2022. Reflecting on his World Cup dream, Pant said, “I always dreamt of winning the World Cup, and in 2024, that dream came true. But as cricketers, we must move forward and focus on what’s next.”
Rishabh Pant has also been selected for India’s Test team for the upcoming series against Bangladesh, marking his return to Test cricket after 20 months. The first Test match will be played on September 19.
