Team India Left Arm Pacer : Indian cricket boasts a rich history of quality fast bowlers who have made significant contributions to the sport.

Renowned names like Kapil Dev, Javagal Srinath, Ajit Agarkar, and Ishant Sharma have showcased stellar performances for Team India. Left-arm fast bowlers, in particular, have played pivotal roles in the team’s victories.

Bowlers such as Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, and Irfan Pathan left an indelible mark, delighting Indian fans with their exceptional skills.

Among those who joined this esteemed list in 2018 is Khalil Ahmed. However, Khalil has been out of the team for an extended period due to a decline in performance.

The upcoming IPL presents his final opportunity to stage a comeback into Team India.

Khalil Ahmed, hailing from Tonk in Rajasthan, spent his formative years playing tennis-ball cricket. Today marks his 26th birthday, signifying that he has several more years of cricket ahead of him.

Yet, he has faced an absence from the national team due to inconsistent performances since his debut in 2018. Although initially speculated to have a long-term presence in Team India, Khalil’s bowling lacked effectiveness, resulting in his swift exclusion.

With 15 wickets in 11 ODIs and 13 wickets in 14 T20 Internationals for India, Khalil has a promising track record. He has also claimed 57 wickets across 43 IPL matches, topping the wicket charts in 2019 with 19 wickets and securing 16 wickets in 2022.

His current team, Delhi Capitals, has shown continued faith in him, retaining him before the auction. His performance in this year’s IPL will be closely watched, determining his prospects for a national team return.
