Kedar Jadhav, a star all-rounder for Team India from Pune, announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on social media. Jadhav last played an international match in 2020 against New Zealand and has since been absent from the team. Speculations about his retirement had been circulating, and Jadhav has now officially put an end to his cricket career.

Following the footsteps of his close friend Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Jadhav announced his retirement in a similar style. In his tweet, Jadhav stated, “Thank you for your support and love during my cricket career. You consider me retired after 3 pm”. He accompanied the announcement with a video featuring memorable moments from his career, including pictures with Virat Kohli and Dhoni, set to the background music of ‘Zindagi Ke Safar Mein’.
