Total Purse and Retention Options
- Purse Amount: Each franchise has a total budget of ₹120 crore, which covers both retention and auction purchases.
- Player Limits: Each team can retain up to 6 players, including a maximum of 5 capped (players who have represented their country) and 2 uncapped players (players who haven’t played internationally or aren’t on the BCCI central contract).

New Uncapped Player Definition
