Is BCCI searching for a new coach..?, let’s know in this report

The Indian team performed well at the start of the year 2022 under the leadership of Rahul Dravid. After the Asia Cup, the level of performance of the Indian team went down. India first faced defeat in the Asia Cup, then in the T20 World Cup, and now in the ODI series in Bangladesh.

Players were selected for the T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. In this, the change intentions of the BCCI were clearly visible. This time many veteran players fell. Along with vice-captain KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, who is often seen in the role of caretaker captain in ODIs, also could not find a place in the team. The poor performance in the T20 World Cup 2022 was the first to sack the Chetan Sharma-led selection committee. Now it is being speculated that the next number is going to be of head coach Rahul Dravid.

Till the formation of the new committee, Chetan Sharma is playing the role of the caretaker selector of the Indian team. According to the news coming out, the BCCI has now decided to clamp down on Rahul Dravid. The BCCI is planning to divide the Indian team coaching into two parts. The top BCCI officers want a foreign coach to be given a chance in the T20 format while Dravid completes his tenure as head coach in ODIs and Tests. It is clearly visible that the role of Rahul Dravid is also going to be affected somewhere.

A BCCI official told the Inside Sports website, “Nothing is final yet.
We are looking for the best options. Rahul (Dravid) is in our plan but a lot of workloads are visible to him. Right now our entire focus is on winning the upcoming World Cup to be held in India.

The message is clear to all. We have to win the World Cup at any cost. At present, we are not taking any decision regarding T20. Many types of discussions are going on at this time. For any kind of final decision, the Cricket Advisory Committee and the selectors will have to be involved in this and all these things are going to take a lot of time.

Please tell that the Cricket Advisory Committee is currently engaged in the process of appointing new selectors. In the past, there have been interviews of former cricketers who have applied continuously. Soon the name of the new selector and the entire panel can be announced.
