The duo of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill is often seen having a great time together. Their friendship is well-known, and they share as much fun off the field as they do on it. Many of their videos have gone viral in the past, and their latest video is now gaining popularity on social media. In this particular video, both players have recreated a scene from the 2003 Bollywood film ‘Gangaajal.’
The original movie was filmed in Tezpur, Bihar, with Ajay Devgan playing the lead role. It was a blockbuster in its time and was one of the highest-grossing films of the year. In this viral video, Ishan Kishan, along with Mohammed Siraj, can be seen playfully applying cake to Gill’s face, while Akshar Patel sneaks up from behind.
Notably, Shubman Gill celebrated his birthday on September 8th, which he enjoyed with his fellow Indian cricket teammates. During the celebration, his teammates playfully smeared cake on his face. Shubman Gill has performed impressively in the Asia Cup 2023, recording consecutive half-centuries against Nepal and Pakistan. However, he fell short of a big score against Sri Lanka, being dismissed after scoring just 19 runs off 25 balls.
Ishan Kishan also delivered a strong performance against Pakistan in the group stage match, scoring 82 runs off 81 balls. Although he couldn’t replicate his success with a big score against Sri Lanka, his innings remained valuable as he contributed 33 runs off 61 balls. India secured a spot in the final by defeating Sri Lanka by a margin of 40 runs.
