Jasprit Bumrah’s Injury Report: The Indian team’s best fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has got his scan done at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and its result is expected in the next 24 hours.

Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir eagerly await the report of Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness.

According to the Times of India report, Bumrah’s scans and medical evaluation at the NCA will determine the next step regarding his rehabilitation. The BCCI medical team is set to conduct a detailed assessment and an official update is expected by Saturday.

Additionally, Dr. Rowan Schouten, who is an orthopaedic surgeon from New Zealand and who operated on Bumrah in 2023, is likely to be contacted for advice when the report is ready. The selection committee will make a final decision on his participation in the Champions Trophy based on medical recommendations.

Bumrah Misses ODI Series Against England

Let us tell you that Jasprit Bumrah suffered back pain in the fifth and final Test match played against Australia, after which he had to leave the match and go to the hospital. The BCCI also does not want to rush with Jasprit Bumrah and that is why they have not included the experienced fast bowler in the ODI series being played against England.

Rohit Sharma had said before the first ODI match played against England that, ‘We are all waiting for the report of Jasprit Bumrah’s scan. In a few days, we will know whether he will be seen playing or not.’
