Abhishek’s Innings Was the Best I’ve Seen,” Says Jos Buttler
England had lost the series with the defeat in the fourth T20I match held in Pune. So, the visitors were trying to sweeten the ending by winning the last match. But England did not succeed in that. Captain Jos Buttler was disappointed with England’s defeat. Buttler named Abhishek Sharma in the post-match presentation and said a lot.
“We are very disappointed after this defeat. We did some things well. But some things needed to be done better. We want to play the way Team India played and do it even better. India is a good team, especially at home. We had a different experience with the fans coming to Wankhede,” said Buttler.
“Our bowlers, Brydon Carse and Mark Wood, did well. I have watched a lot of cricket but I think Abhishek’s innings was the best,” said Buttler, praising Abhishek’s explosive centuries.
