Australia’s team problems seem to be increasing in Gabba. Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood could not participate in the warm-up match due to a calf injury. He was not seen on the field during the match. The severity of the injury has not yet been determined.  He will soon undergo treatment.

Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood appeared on the field but returned after bowling just one over, visibly uncomfortable. He looked uncomfortable during his bowling. It seemed that he was not normal.

If he is unable to be a part of the team due to injury, then it is a challenging task for the Australian team. Due to his absence, the pressure of bowling will increase on the rest of the bowlers.

Scott Boland Poised to Replace Injured Josh Hazlewood in Boxing Day Test

Scott Boland was given a chance to bowl in place of Josh Hazlewood at Adelaide Oval. His performance was as per the team’s expectations. Hazelwood was ruled out of the second Test due to a side strain during the BGT opener in Perth.

The Australian team had recalled their fast bowler in the Test match. Now the team’s decision seems to be backfiring. Even though the earlier injury was different. But now the new injury has become a matter of concern. Due to this, it is a big setback for the Australian team. The team may miss Josh Hazelwood during bowling.

The Australian team is in a very strong position but the rain is spoiling the fun of the game. The Australian team will want to win this match at all costs. On the other hand, the Indian team will be in the pursuit of a draw. Scott Boland can be given a chance in the last two Test matches in place of Josh Hazelwood.
