Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have selected a new mentor. Dwayne Bravo taking over the reins of the team just a few hours after announcing his retirement.

Bravo, who had been playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Dwayne Bravo announced his retirement from all formats of cricket a few hours earlier due to an injury. It’s worth noting that Kolkata Knight Riders had been searching for a new mentor since Gambhir became the head coach of India’s national team. Under Gambhir’s leadership, KKR won the 2024 IPL title. Prior to this, Bravo had been associated with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he served as the bowling coach.
