KKR’s Tough Journey: Battling Bad Weather

Although they played their last match against Lucknow Super Giants on 5 May, they struggled on their way back home. Bad weather prevented their plane from landing twice, delaying their travel plans.

Struggle with Bad Weather: KKR’s Flight Problems

After leaving Lucknow on Monday, their plane tried to land two times but couldn’t because of bad weather. First, they tried to land in Guwahati, but that didn’t work out. Then they tried again from Guwahati to Kolkata, but that didn’t work either. So, they had to go to Varanasi and stay there for a while until the weather got better.

Finally Back Home: KKR’s Return from Varanasi

Despite the setbacks, KKR kept up their spirits and kept their fans informed of what was happening through social media. After waiting in Varanasi, they started their journey back to Kolkata. Fans were eagerly waiting for their comeback. Finally, after completing their arduous journey, they reached Kolkata safely.

Although they had a tough time off the field, KKR performed well in their last match against Lucknow Super Giants. They scored a lot, 235, and lost only 6 wickets. Sunil Narine played a brilliant 81 off just 39 balls and was adjudged Man of the Match. It was his sixth time to score over 200 this season, which shows how good he is in matches.

In short, bad weather made it difficult for KKR to return home, but they still managed to win the last match before their comeback. Despite the challenges, they remained strong and focused on winning.
