Pathirana Shines with Yorker Mastery in Lanka Premier League
In the current era of T20, it has become easier for batsmen to score runs. Whereas it is difficult for bowlers to take wickets and stop runs. However, bowlers have some weapons which if hit accurately, then the batsman is doomed. One of them is the yorker ball. Sri Lanka’s young fast bowler Mathisa Pathirana is known for his yorker ball. And once again he has shown how dangerous this ball of his is.
Pathirana is also called the son of Malinga because his bowling action is exactly like that of the former Sri Lankan bowler. Pathirana is currently playing in the Lanka Premier League. He is playing for the Colombo Strikers in this league. On July 15, this team had a match with Galle Marvels. In this match, Pathirana wreaked havoc with his yorker and then smiled after taking a wicket.
