Kanpur Superstars Set a Challenging Target
In the final match, the Kanpur Superstars team batted first and scored 190 runs in 20 overs. In response, the Meerut Mavericks team achieved the target with two balls to spare. Meerut Mavericks team defeated Kanpur Superstars by five wickets in the final. The winning six came off the bat of Meerut captain Madhav Kaushik. In fact, in the final match of UP T20 League 2024, Meerut Mavericks captain Madhav Kaushik won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Shaurya Singh and Shoaib Siddiqui opened the innings for the Kanpur Superstars team.
The two had a partnership of 77 runs till 6.4 overs of the team. Shaurya scored 56 runs off 23 balls and was caught by Rituraj off Zeeshan Ansari. Then captain Sameer Rizvi, along with Shoaib Siddiqui, helped handle the team’s innings

In this way, batting first, Kanpur Superstars scored 190 runs in the stipulated 20 overs by losing 5 wickets. Yash Garg took 3 wickets for 47 runs from Meerut Mavericks.
Meerut Mavericks Chase Down the Target

Swastik Chikara and Madhav Kaushik then took charge of the team’s innings and there was an important partnership of 66 runs between the two. Swastik scored 62 runs facing 31 balls and Madhav scored an unbeaten 69 runs.
