On the second day, Monday, this franchise is active and is waiting for the players for whom it has come to mind and is also bidding heavily. One such name is Allah Ghazanfar.

Afghanistan’s spinners have been dominating the IPL for a long time. Be it Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmed or Mohammad Nabi. Now 18-year-old Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar is ready to join the list of Afghan spinners. This year this player will be seen playing in the Mumbai team.
Ghazanfar grabbed everyone’s attention with his ODI debut against Ireland in March this year. Earlier this month, he created a stir by taking six wickets against Bangladesh in Shahjahan. Earlier, he was a key player in Afghanistan’s title win in the Emerging Asia Cup.

Ghazanfar’s Journey: From KKR Bench to MI Spotlight
However, this will not be Ghazanfar’s first IPL. He was with Kolkata last year. Ghazanfar was included in the team as a replacement for the injury of his countryman Mujeeb Ur Rahman. However, he did not get a chance to play a single match.
This time it is expected that Mumbai will give him a chance to debut. At the same time, Mujeeb has not found a buyer this time.
Mumbai Strengthens Spin Arsenal with Young Afghan Talent
Ghazanfar is not a new face in the T20 franchise circuit. He has experience of 16 matches in which he has taken 29 wickets. He has played in the Sri Lanka Premier League, Abu Dhabi League. He has played eight ODIs for Afghanistan in which he has taken 12 wickets. He has not played a single T20 match for his country yet.
