Australia Faces a Big Blow Ahead of Champions Trophy

There has already been a lot of drama surrounding the Champions Trophy and this time the Australian team has made headlines as their star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out due to back pain and a hamstring injury.

This is a big blow for the Australian team as Marsh is one of their key players in the team who fills a lot of depth in the team with his abilities with both batting and bowling.

โ€œThe National Selection Committee and the Australian Menโ€™s Medical Team have ruled Marsh out of the tournament due to an injury that is not responding adequately to rehabilitation.

His lower back pain has worsened in recent weeks, leading to the NSP making the long-term decision for Marsh to complete an extended period of rehabilitation,โ€ Cricket Australia said in an official press release on Friday, January 31.
