Afghanistan cricket team star all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has announced retirement from ODI cricket after the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This news has not been confirmed by anyone else but by Naseeb Khan, Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Cricket Board. Naseeb shared this information during the conversation with Cricbuzz on Friday i.e. today (8 November 2024).

A Legendary Career

Let us tell you that Nabi played his first ODI for the Afghanistan cricket team in the year 2009 against Scotland. Where he managed to score a half-century by batting well. Till the time the news is written, he has played a total of 165 matches in ODIs. Meanwhile, his bat has scored 3537 runs in 145 innings at an average of 27.00. He has two centuries and 17 half-centuries in ODI cricket.

At the same time, during the bowling, he has taken 171 wickets in 159 innings of so many matches at an average of 32.16. The prophet has the feat of taking five wickets in the ODI 1 time. His best bowling performance here is five wickets spending 17 runs.
