Mohammed Shami Prepares for Return Ahead of IND vs AUS Series

Mohammed Shami, 34, started her session at around 2:30 pm on Sunday and finished at 3:50 pm after India lost to New Zealand in the first Test match of the series. Shami has been out since the ODI World Cup 2023, where he suffered an ankle injury. Before the first Test match between India and New Zealand, captain Rohit Sharma insisted on the team’s cautious stance, saying that he does not want Shami to participate in the Test series due to swelling in his knees, which is hindering his recovery.
