BCCI Announces Rs 125 Crore Prize Money
BCCI Secretary Jai Shah congratulated the Indian team for winning the T-20 World Cup through a post on social media. He also congratulated all the players, coaches, and support staff. It also announced a prize money of Rs 125 crore for the Indian team.

Team India’s 4th ICC Trophy Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team has won the World Cup (ODI, T20) for the fourth time. The Indian team defeated South Africa by 7 runs in the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday (June 29). India has won the ODI World Cup twice before (1983, 2011). So, the first T20 World Cup was won in 2007.
