MS Dhoni Faces ₹15 Crore Fine with Criminal Complaint Filed – Latest Developments Unveiled

New Delhi: Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has filed a criminal complaint against his former business partners in a sports firm for defrauding him of Rs 15 crore.

Mihir Diwakar signed a deal in 2017 to establish a global cricket academy named after cricketer MS Dhoni. However, as per the complaint, the work was not completed according to the terms specified in the contract.

Subsequently, Dhoni has filed a criminal case in a Ranchi court against Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwas of Arka Sports and Management Limited. Mihir Diwakar is a close friend and business partner of Dhoni.

Dhoni’s loss of 15 crores

Mahendra Singh Dhoni withdrew the authority letter of Arka Sports on 15 August 2021. Dhoni sent him several legal notices, but to no avail. Following this, Dhoni’s lawyer Dayanand Singh claimed that Arka Sports had cheated him, causing him a loss of over 15 crores.
