The Navi Mumbai Premier League T20’s second edition is set to occur from February 12, 2024, until February 27, 2024. Eight teams are expected to compete in the tournament, playing a total of 25 matches over 15 days at the Mazgaon Cricket Club Ground in Navi Mumbai.
The opening match will be played between Mira Bhayander Lions, who won the championship last season and are the defending champions, and Koparkairne Titans, who were semifinalists in the previous season held in 2023.
Last season (NMPL 2023), Thane Tigers finished at the top of the points table with six wins and one loss. Mira Bhayandar Lions secured the second spot with five wins out of seven games. and also Kalyan Tuskers and Vashi Warriors have both secured their place in the top four. However, both the Sanpada Scorpions and Koparkhairne Titans had a rough season, finishing with only one win each.
