Sidhu Criticizes Travis Head’s Celebration
Travis Head dismissed Rishabh Pant at the score of 30 and dealt a blow to India. Yashasvi and Pant shared a partnership of 88 runs for the fourth wicket.
After the wicket of Rishabh Pant, the Australian team came back into the game. After this Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Yashasvi Jaiswal were also out. Team India was bowled out for 155 and Australia won by 184 runs. Travis Head’s celebration after dismissing Pant has become the talk of social media.
Some fans and veteran players did not like this celebration of the head. Former Indian player Navjot Singh Sidhu has been severely punished. He said that it is an insult to 1.5 billion Indians and he said that he has set the worst example for children, women, youth and the older People who watch the game.

“Travis Head’s behaviour during the Melbourne Test is not good for a gentleman’s game… It sets the worst example when children, women, young and old are watching the game… Why did he behave like this to anyone but 1.5 billion Indians? Why insult kiya hai… They should be given severe punishment which will act as a deterrent for future generations so that no one dares to do this.
