In an interview with PTI, Lara said, “If I feel that my record is in danger then Jaiswal has a good chance to do it. He already has a few double centuries to his name.” Yashasvi recently became the Man of the Series in the Test series against England. He scored 712 runs in 9 innings at an average of 89. Meanwhile, he scored two double centuries and three half-centuries. He has also been selected in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. It is believed that he will open with captain Rohit Sharma.
