New Rules of Cricket: Changes Introduced by BCCI Before Ranji Trophy

Cricket is considered to be an uncertain game. Anything can happen at any time in cricket. But the color of the game is due to the rules of the game. Because of the rules, the game is called the ‘Gentleman Game’. The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has changed some of the rules of cricket before the Ranji Trophy, starting on October 7. The domestic cricket season in India starts on Friday with the first round of Ranji Trophy. In the meantime, some important rules have been changed by the BCCI. Key Changes in Cricket Rules

The batsman left the field for any reason other than injury, illness, or inevitable cause, while the batsman will be immediately dismissed. Even with the consent of the opposition captain, the batting will not have the option of returning to the batsman. Also, if a team has reduced the ball in the bowling, the penalty will be imposed. Also, the ball will have to be changed immediately.

Changes in Points Allocation

If only two batsmen have reached the crease while taking a run, then only 2 runs will be given if the Overtthro bounds go. Another change is related to the allocation of points in the CK Naidu tournament. Two situations are mentioned in the new rules. If a team has scored 499 runs in the first innings and the same team has got 5 penalty runs while fielding, they will be given 5 batsmen as 5. But if this is the case after 3 overs, then they will be given only 3 points.
