Strong Spin Attack for Sub-Continent Tour
To tackle the spin-friendly pitches of the sub-continent, New Zealand has included five spinners: Mitchell Santner, Ajaz Patel, Rachin Ravindra, Michael Bracewell, and Glenn Phillips. These players will play a key role in the matches. The batting lineup includes experienced players like Devon Conway, Tom Latham, Kane Williamson, and Daryl Mitchell, with Will Young providing additional batting support.
New Experience for Fast Bowlers
The pace attack will be led by Will O’Rourke and Ben Sears, who will be touring overseas for the first time. Notably, experienced fast bowler Trent Boult has been left out of the squad. O’Rourke and Sears made their Test debuts against South Africa and Australia earlier this year, and this tour will be a significant opportunity for them.
