New Zealand Crushes Team India by 58 Runs in Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Opener

Indian Batting Struggles

Team India’s batsmen failed miserably against New Zealand. No batsman of Team India could score more than 15 runs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 15 runs. Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues both scored 13 runs each. Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh both contributed 12 runs each. Other batsmen were disappointed. All four could not even reach double figures. Renuka Singh left as soon as she came. Asha Shobhana returned unbeaten on 6 runs. Rosemary Mair was the highest wicket-taker for New Zealand with 4 wickets. While Lee Tahuhu took 3 wickets. Eden Carson showed the two off the field.
