Bangladesh Arrives in Pakistan Amid Tension
The Bangladesh cricket team has arrived in Pakistan for a two-match Test series despite the ongoing tension and chaos in the country. Bangladesh landed in Pakistan just a few hours ago, ready to face the host nation. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 16-member squad for the series on August 11, with Najmul Hussain Shanto leading the team. The series marks the return of experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to the Test squad, along with wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim and fast bowler Taskin Ahmed.

Shakib Al Hasan’s Comeback
Shakib Al Hasan’s last Test match for Bangladesh was in May when Sri Lanka toured Bangladesh. It was a 2-match Test series in total. Shakib has been consistently playing in the T20 World Cup and other T20 cricket leagues since that series. Along with Shakib, experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and fast bowler Taskin Ahmed have made a comeback in the team. Taskin will be playing the second match of the series.

Bangladesh’s Struggles Against Pakistan
