Only two bowlers of Pakistan were left to bury England. Both Sajid Khan and Noman Ali from Pakistan packed up England. Sajid Khan took 7 wickets for 111 runs in 26.2 overs. Noman Ali scored 101 runs in 28 overs and dismissed three.

England’s Batting Struggles

Ben Duckett contributed the most runs from England. Duckett scored 114 runs off 129 balls with 16 fours. This was Duckett’s fourth Test century and his second century against Pakistan. But apart from that not one could hit 35 par. England’s experienced batsman Joe Root contributed 34 runs. Ollie Pope scored 29, opener Zac Crowley scored 27, and Jack Leach scored 25 not out. Jamie Smith added 21 runs. So 5 people could not even reach the double figure. Harry Brook and Shoaib Bashir both scored 9 runs each. Matthew Potts made his way out of the field for 6 runs. Braydon Kars scored 4 and captain Ben Stokes scored 1 run.
