PAK vs WI Test: The Pakistan cricket team’s winning streak in Test matches at home has continued. After England, Pakistan has now won against the West Indies.

Pakistan defeated West Indies by 127 runs on the third day of the first Test match played in Multan.

PAK vs WI: Spinners Lead Pakistan to a Big Win in 1st Test

Pakistan had set a challenge of 251 runs for victory against West Indies. But in front of Pakistan’s spin, the Windies were bowled out for 123 runs. In this match, a blast of spinners was seen. Pakistan’s Sajid Khan and Noman Ali both took 15 wickets out of 20. The remaining 5 wickets were taken by other spinners.

The Windies team is on a tour of Pakistan for 2 Test series. The opening match in Multan was low-scoring. Both the teams could not score much. The spinners dominated this match. Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and elected to bat on January 17.

Spinners Shine on Both Sides

Pakistan scored 230 runs in the first innings. After that, Pakistan restricted Windies to 137 runs in the first innings. Pakistan took a decisive lead of 93 runs with this. Pakistan then scored 157 runs in the second innings. So the Windies got a challenge of 251 runs for victory. But the Windies could score only 137 runs in the second innings. Pakistan thus won the match by 127 runs.

Meanwhile, the spinners of both teams dominated the match. Windies’ spin bowlers took 14 wickets. The fast bowlers could take only 3 wickets. Sajid Khan took 9 wickets and Noman Ali took 6 wickets from Pakistan.
