Long Wait for Home Victory

Meanwhile, Pakistan have not been able to get a single win at home for the last three years. After handing over the captaincy of the Test team to Shan Masood, Pakistan toured Australia and were beaten there too. The loss against Bangladesh has made it difficult for the neighbors to stay in the WTC race. Pakistan’s ‘test’ is being seen in all formats, One Day, Twenty20 and Test. Pakistan has not been able to win a single Test match at their home ground for as many as 1,303 days. Notably, Pakistan became the second team after Bangladesh to lose a Test series at home against each of the other ten oldest Test-playing nations.

Pakistan Cricket Board is at a critical point, and the upcoming strategies and decisions will be essential for the team’s success in the future.
