Pakistan won the third ODI by 8 wickets and won the series 2-1. This was Mohammad Rizwan’s first series as captain. He made it historic by leading Pakistan to victory. Following Babar Azam’s departure from the captaincy, Rizwan took over the captaincy of the white ball team. After losing the first ODI, the Pakistan team won the second match by a big margin. With the win in the third match, they claimed the series.
Pakistan’s team got a target of 141 runs in the last ODI match. The team achieved it on the fifth ball of the 27th over. In the final ODI, the Pakistan team decided to bowl first. Their decision proved right as the Australian team was all out for 140 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah took 3-3 wickets.
