Kane Williamson withdrew himself from the T20 and ODI series against Pakistan to participate in IPL 2023 , could never have imagined that he would be forced out of the tournament in the very first match.
Gujarat Titans had included Kane Williamson in their squad this year, and he even secured a spot in the team’s first match against CSK. However, while fielding, Kane Williamson sustained a knee injury while trying to prevent a boundary, which led to him being ruled out of the entire tournament.
