Abhimanyu Iswaran has been made the vice-captain of the Rest of India team. Dhruv Jurel and Ishan Kishan have both been placed as wicketkeepers. Yash Dayal has also been included. Both Dhruv and Yash have also been selected for the second Test match against Bangladesh. But since, certainly, they will not be given a chance there, they have been selected here. The second and final match between India and Bangladesh will be played on September 27.

Also, if Sarfaraz Khan does not get a chance in the play eleven of the second Test against Bangladesh, he can be given a place in this tournament. On the other hand, the senior selection committee of the Mumbai Cricket Association has given chance to both Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur.
