First Day’s Play Also Impacted by Rain
On the first day, the match started with a delay of 1 hour. The match started at 10:30 instead of 9:30 in the morning. The first session was interrupted by rain. Then in the second session, Andhuk Prakash and Pavasan Khoda were introduced. So BCCI decided to stop the game. Only 40 percent of the game could be played on the first day. So 60 percent of the game was wasted. According to the rules, only 90 overs are played in a day in Test cricket. But due to rain, the game was played in 35 overs. Bangladesh scored 107 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 30 overs.

The next day’s match was expected to start from 9 am. But even before that, rain was raining. When will the rain stop for both teams and cricket fans? Was waiting for this. But the rain did not stop. After the rain stopped, the ground staff worked hard to dry the ground. During that time, occasional rains continued. So it became challenging to dry the field. But even after that, the efforts continued.
Will Day 3 Bring Better Weather?
The BCCI finally called off Day 2’s play at 2:07 PM after constant rain made it impossible to dry the field. Now, all eyes are on Day 3, as cricket fans hope for better weather to resume the match.
