Ranji Trophy Returns to Kashmir After Six Years
The Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar will host a Ranji Trophy match for the first time in six years. The tournament will begin on October 11, with two matches scheduled in Srinagar and one at the GGM Science College ground in Jammu. The Jammu and Kashmir team is placed in the Elite Group, along with teams like Maharashtra, Odisha, Mumbai, and Baroda. The last Ranji Trophy match played in Srinagar was in November 2018, where Jammu and Kashmir defeated Tripura by eight wickets.

Upcoming Matches and Schedule
Jammu and Kashmir will play their first match of the Ranji Trophy from October 11 to 14 against Maharashtra at their home ground in Srinagar. Another match will be played against Services from October 26 to 29 at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium. Additionally, the team will face Tripura from November 13 to 16 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground in Jammu

Preparations Underway
The match will be played between Jammu and Kashmir and Services from 26 to 29 October at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium. Jammu and Kas team will take on Tripura from 13 to 16 November at GGM Science College Hostel Ground in Jammu. Skill camp has started from 13 September at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium for the preparations of the team, which will be concluded on 22 September.
After this, the second phase of the camp will start in Srinagar from October 1 to 8. Ajay Sharma has been made the head coach for the skill camp.
