Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the most successful bowlers in Test cricket. He has played 106 Test matches and taken 537 wickets. He is India’s second-highest wicket-taker in the Test format. The first Indian bowler to take the most wickets in Test cricket was Anil Kumble, who claimed 619 wickets in 132 Test matches. Last month, during the Border Gavaskar Trophy, he surprised everyone by suddenly announcing his retirement.
