Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has achieved a remarkable milestone in Test cricket by equalling the records of Ravichandran Ashwin and Kapil Dev. Jadeja has become the third Indian bowler to take 300 wickets and score 3,000 runs in Test cricket.

Ravindra Jadeja accomplished this feat during the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh at Green Park, Kanpur. He achieved this milestone by dismissing Khalid Ahmed, claiming Bangladesh’s final wicket. With this achievement, Jadeja joins a special club previously occupied by only R Ashwin and Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev scored 5,248 runs and took 434 wickets in Test cricket, while Ravichandran Ashwin, ranked second, has scored more than 3,000 runs and taken 500 wickets. Ashwin is now regarded as the greatest Indian all-rounder in Test cricket.

India Bowls Out Bangladesh for 233 Runs

In the second Test at Green Park, Kanpur, India opted to bowl after winning the toss. Rain disrupted the match, allowing only 35 overs to be played over the first three days. On the fourth day, Bangladesh resumed their innings at 107/3. Mominul Haque stood firm for Bangladesh, scoring his 13th Test fifty and helping his team reach a total of 233 runs. Mominul remained unbeaten at the end of the innings.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah led the bowling attack, taking three wickets. Akashdeep Singh, Mohammad Siraj, and Ravichandran Ashwin claimed two wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket. Jadeja bowled 9.2 overs, conceding 28 runs.
