But he did not succeed in that. Shashank scored the most runs for Punjab. Shashank scored an unbeaten 61 runs in 30 balls with 6 sixes and 3 fours. Others also contributed. But their contribution could not prevent RCB from becoming champions.

Romario Shepherd claimed the vital wicket of Shreyas Iyer, while Yash Dayal and Josh Hazlewood also contributed with one wicket each. This disciplined bowling performance ensured that Punjab couldn’t reach the target, leading RCB to secure their historic IPL title.
