Ricky Ponting Joins Punjab Kings as Head Coach for IPL 2025
Big news has come out ahead of IPL 2025. Australian legend Ricky Ponting has won the lottery. Punjab Kings have decided to appoint Ponting as the head coach after Delhi Capitals sacked him. Ricky Ponting was the coach of Mumbai Indians from 2014 to 2016. Mumbai won the IPL title in 2015. Ponting has a long experience of IPL. Was linked with Delhi Capitals since 2017. But Delhi could not win the trophy in the last seven years. Ricky Ponting has signed a 4-year contract with the Punjab Kings franchise, which will expire in 2028.
