Confidence in a National Call-Up
Riyan Parag said I will play for the Indian team soon… whatever happens, it will happen. In any case, they (selectors) have to choose me, yes or no? I believe so. Confidence is not arrogance. Even when I was not in form, I said that I would play for Team India. I started playing cricket at the age of 10. Riyan Parag was talking to news channel ‘PTI’.

But, in the seventeenth season of IPL, he made his mark by performing brilliantly. In 15 matches this season, he scored 573 runs at a strike rate of 148.22, including four half-centuries.
