The U-19 World Cup schedule for the upcoming event in South Africa has been released. Five-time champions India will begin their campaign against the 2020 winners Bangladesh in Bloemfontein.

Hosts South Africa will simultaneously face the West Indies in the tournament opener.

A total of 41 matches will unfold across five different grounds involving 16 competing teams. India finds itself in Group A, competing against Bangladesh, Ireland, and America.

Group B features England, South Africa, West Indies, and Scotland. Meanwhile, Group C includes Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, and Group D comprises Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal.

The January 2024 World Cup has divided the 16 teams into four groups of 4 each. The top three teams from all groups will advance to the Super Six stage, while the bottom-placed team from each group will play a match to determine their exit from the tournament. This elimination match will feature the fourth team from Group A against the fourth teams from Groups B and C.

The 12 teams advancing to the Super Six stage will be divided into two groups based on their previous standings. One group will consist of the top three teams from Groups A and D, while the other will include the top three teams from Groups B and C. Each team will play two matches within their respective Super Six group.

The top two teams from each Super Six group will progress to the semi-finals, competing for a place in the finals.
