Rohit Sharma Training: Team India is moving towards victory in the Perth Test match. It has set a challenge of 534 runs in front of Australia. By the first session of the fourth day, India has sent half of the hosts’ team to the pavilion.
Meanwhile, good news has come for Indian fans. The team’s regular captain Rohit Sharma has started preparing for the second Test match.
Rohit Begins Training for Pink Ball Test
Rohit reached Australia on Sunday. Due to the birth of his son, he did not play in the Perth Test match and was in India. Jasprit Bumrah captained India in the first Test match in place of Rohit.
Rohit reached Australia yesterday on Sunday. On the fourth day of the match i.e. Monday, he was also seen in the dressing room with coach Gautam Gambhir. Both Rohit and Gambhir were seen discussing. Shortly after this, Rohit went straight to the nets and started his preparation. The second Test match is to be held in Adelaide which is a pink ball test.

This will be a day-night test. This match played with a pink ball is very important. It is not easy to play with the pink ball and Rohit wants to get into full rhythm before this difficult match hence he did not waste any time after reaching Australia.

Selection Headache for Rohit
In Rohit’s absence, Bumrah took over the captaincy in his place and KL Rahul took over the responsibility of opening batsman with Yashasvi. Rahul did well in both the innings. His 26 runs in the first innings in difficult conditions gave a lot of relief to the team.
In the second innings, he along with Jaiswal gave a strong start to the team and added 201 runs for the first wicket. Rahul scored 77 runs in the second innings.
