Rohit Sharma, the 2023 World Cup captain of the Indian cricket team, faced an incident.
After the India vs. Pakistan match, he utilized a swan helicopter to travel to Mumbai, where he enjoyed two days with his family.
After reuniting with the team on Tuesday, he decided to personally drive his high-end sports car from Mumbai to Pune.
Nevertheless, on this trip, he exceeded the 100 km/h speed limit on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Sources from the traffic department disclosed that Rohit Sharma disregarded traffic regulations by consistently driving at excessive speeds during the journey. He was recorded driving at speeds exceeding 200 km/h on several occasions and even reached 215 km/h at certain points.
As a result, three online traffic challans were issued against his car’s number plate.
Transport department sources criticized Rohit’s high-speed driving during the World Cup and suggested that he should travel in the team bus with police escort.
