Steve Smith’s Century and Struggles
Steve Smith was struggling with poor form for some time. After the retirement of David Warner, he got the responsibility of opening. But he could not show anything special there, after which he was seen batting at number 4 in the series against India.
Smith could not play a single big innings in both the Perth and Adelaide Tests. But with his timing on the pitch at the Gabba and help from Travis Head from the other end, he scored his 33rd Test century. This is also the batsman’s 10th Test century against India
