SA vs IND 1st ODI: Team India Loses Opener to Host Cheetpat; Series at 0-1

SA vs IND 1st ODI – Team India vs South Africa the hosts have lost the first one day match. When the African team batted first, they had given the team India a target of just 117 runs.

After successfully chasing this target in 17 overs, they have won the first match against Africa by 8 wickets. Sai Sudarshan and Shreyas Iyer scored half centuries for Team India. By winning this match, Team India has taken the lead in the three-match series by 0-1.

Team India’s innings

Rituraj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan remained in the field while chasing the target given by Africa. Sai showed his class right from the start and hit some impressive shots.

Rituraj Gaikwad once again failed to make a big innings. Team India got their first shock on 23 runs, Rituraj was back with just 5 runs. Shreyas Iyer and Sai Sudarshan scored half-centuries to take the team to the brink of victory.

But in the sound of playing a big shot, Shreyas returned to 52 runs. Tilak Verma came in and scored a run, then debutant Sai Sudarshan hit the winning shot to seal the win for the team.

Africa’s innings

Only two young bowlers of Team India left the African team in a hurry. Arshdeep Singh took the first four wickets to his name, giving Africa a shock from the start.

With Arshdeep gone, Avesh Khan showed his class and took four wickets for Africa. Had to wait for the last two wickets but Arshdeep once again made a comeback and set a record by taking the fifth wicket. Kuldeep Yadav took the last wicket to wrap up Africa.

A powerful unbeaten half-century in the debut match

In today’s ODI match, Sai Sudarshan scored an unbeaten 55 runs. Gadi came out after winning team India by hitting 9 fours in just 43 balls. Fans are saying that Sai Sudarshan can become a big player in the future.
