The Indian cricket team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, has started the tour of South Africa with a win. In the first match of the four-match T20I series, India beat South Africa by 61 runs. Team India challenged South Africa by 203 runs.
But South Africa could not even play the full 20 overs in front of Indian bowlers. Team India wrapped up South Africa before 13 balls. South African team was all out for 141 runs. This was India’s fifth T20I win in Durban and 11th in a row. With this win, Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series.
India’s Powerful Batting Performance
South Africa won the toss and chose to field, putting India to bat first. India’s innings was powered by a brilliant century from Sanju Samson, who scored 107 runs off 50 balls, hitting 10 sixes and 7 fours. Samson’s performance helped India reach a solid total of 202/8. Tilak Verma added valuable runs with his 33, and Captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed 21 runs. While Rinku Singh added 11, the rest of the Indian batsmen struggled.

Indian Bowlers Dominate South Africa
Most of the batsmen got the expected start except for a few South Africans. But they did not have to perform in front of the Indian bowlers. Wicketkeeper-batsman Henrik Klaasen contributed 25, Gerald Coetzee 23, and Ryan Rickelton 21 for South Africa. Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, and Marco Janssen could not go beyond 18. Others did not resist.
Varun Chakraborty and Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets each for Team India. Avesh Khan took 2 wickets. Arshdeep Singh took 1 wicket.
