Shaheen Afridi Tops ICC ODI Rankings Again
Shaheen Afridi recently took eight wickets in 26.5 overs in three matches against Australia at an impressive average of 12.62. Thanks to his brilliant performance, the left-arm fast bowler secured the number one position in the ICC ODI rankings. He jumped three places in the ICC rankings. His 696 rating points were achieved in Perth, which is the best rating point of his career.
At the same time, despite not playing any ODI since August 2024, three Indian bowlers are in the top 10. Kuldeep Yadav is the highest-ranked Indian bowler in fourth place with 665 points, while Jasprit Bumrah has gained two places. In the bowlers’ rankings, Mohammed Siraj has slipped to seventh place along with Trent Boult with 643 rating points.
